Aesha Ash: Dancer

thank you for the words of encouragement. I understand when you say "I did not see dancers who looked like me." Though I never wanted to be a dancer but "way, way" back (LOL) I wanted to be a cartoonist because but I did not see many black cartoonist and I thought my drawings were not good enough.

Although that dream has gone by the wayside I am still working toward my other goal, getting my degree in Communications so I can work in radio, voice overs, public speaking.

Thanx again. ^_^

You can still do cartoons!! It is never to late for that!! A Communications degree is the best! My degree is in English because communication is KEY!

For the past year I have been trying to find out more about black cartoonists!

Check this book out: Still I Rise: A Cartoon History of African Americans by Roland Owen Laird Jr. & Taneisha Naish Laird with Illustrator Elihu Bey (all BLACK!!)

I love the body shape of dancers! Not quite to the point, but I just had to say it... ^^

I understand. Dancers are like a string where they can move in any which way. It is amazing what years of stretching can do for you body! I wish I were that limber again! Ahhh....oh youth! Thanks for your thoughts!
Still look pretty lanky to moi! ^^
