i'm sure most of you have been made aware of the growing poverty of HAITI. its so bad that many have resorted to actually eating pies made out of mud. i can't tell you how much this disturbs me. over the years i have been involved in helping the cause not only because of my deep rooted connection to HAITI but because no woman, no man, and no child should ever be hungry enough to eat dirt...contact: wyclef jean's 'www.yele.org/' or 'www.lambifund.org/' and ask how you can help relieve this terrible tragedy afflicting a most prized and beloved place in my heart...i received a very cherished invitation to the annual amFAR awards ceromony. an organization dedicated to fighting the spread of HIV aids. notable artist and director JULIAN SCHNABEL asked me to attend to see him honored for his outstanding work in the fight for aids research. ..BOBBY SHRIVER was also honored for his part in creating the 'RED' campaign which has been picked up by the GAP, APPLE and countless other manufactures. it has helped to raise millions against this dreadful disease. its far from over so if anyone wants to help go to www.amfar.org..proceeds from the song 'HELP SOMEBODY' off the forthcoming COLUMBIA release 'BLACKsummers'night' will be donated to the causes mentioned above. thank u..m.
