Register to Vote

Many young people have expressed to me that they are going to VOTE in this upcoming Presidential election.

GREAT!!

Please register to vote at your local DMV [department of motor vehicles] or check this website below of other places in your area where you can register to vote.

Why vote?

Every movement that is created in America needs to back up what they are professing. Civil Rights movement demanded change and it was received it but you see all the mess we still are going through and always will.

Why?

It is human nature. A little melanin will always make you an issue in the world. Your religion will always be an issue. Your sexuality will make you an issue in the world.

What can be done?

Educate yourself and voice your opinion. Start a blog, write your representatives, Senators, etc. I know my state is tired of me, but I write in and call in but that is just my nature. I am wired that way!
 
Many issues pop up and if you really believe in it fight for it. If not, then be quiet and stop complaining if you are not
going to do something that your vote can change.

Did you know that certain celebrities with the Rock the Vote Campaign were NOT registered to vote.
That is why I am not very vocal about that campaign. Hopefully those individuals will vote but to tell you the truth, I honestly rather persuade their fan base than those celebrities. Those kids can make a difference if they register to vote!
