Though I try to  be optimistic, I am very concerned with the USA's economy.

As I was listening to Afroculture's playlist here on last.fm, the song, Afro Pusherman (click on link to sample) by Tony Allen caught me to the point that I am convinced that Prince was influenced by Tony Allen especially on that track.

Prince you have a BIG BIG BIG fan in Belgium.

If there is any way possible you can do a concert there, please do.

All of us on last.fm are amazed at how much Prince music she adores. I am just wondering if you could ever make it to Belgium or if you could even have your management reach out to her that would be great.

Do you know she has listened to your music 29, 844 times since July 4, 2007 through last.fm?

I am SHOCKED every week at her charts because she is consistently a top listener where she listens to you at least 300 to 500 times a week. I admire that. I am not to sure if she speaks English or if she does I am not aware but goodness gracious, this girl is going to turn into Prince as it was joked about on www.last.fm!

I had the chance to see it.

I enjoyed it but it was so short!!

How are you going to play with our little emotions, Mr. Princey poo poo? (^_^)  But, it was not his fault at all.

Why did the NBC producers of Jay Leno start his performance at 12.33AM EST and the show goes off at 12:37AM EST? 4 minutes of Prince. Only 4 minutes?! Is that the regular time of a music performance on Jay Leno? I am just wondering. But, it was great despite the 4 minutes of funk. I am addicted to funk so I try to have as much funk in my life as possible. Why do you think I listen to Prince ??  My Last.fm charts are very evident that I listen to Prince a lot but then to other music too!

However, the 4 minutes of Prince's funk broad casted on NBC was only for the viewing TV audience. The audience at Jay Leno saw more so I am thankful they had a treat. This why you should consider reading the blog by Dr.Funkenberry. He gives you the scoop!

On another note.....

Tonight, Prince  will be performing at Coachella so I look forward to hearing favorable reviews of his Purple badness!! According to mydesert.com, Prince's performance starts at 10.45pm PST so I may be asleep but the man will be rocking. I have no idea if the show will be online and I have tried asking on twitter to @attblueroom for they are live tweeting the event but they have not responded to my question or they may not respond.  I am signed up at AT&T Blueroom but they did not make it clear whether Prince's performance would be available online.

As a paying customer of AT&T for my cellphone has been with Cingular since 2001 (AT &T bought cingular and my entire family is signed up with Cingular for our cellphones), I wonder if Prince's team considered to clue in Prince's fans who are customer's of AT& T. Remember last year when he did his concerts he had teamed up briefly with Verizon Wireless and did a commercial with them. See info here: Prince, Verizon Team for New Album Release
[Another idea - I have been trying to find a Purple phone but Cingular does not have a Purple razor model so I tried to find a plastic purple cover but none of them fit the size of my old razor. So, I am just saying!! Hint hint to Prince poo poo. And, I refuse to use a blackberry!!]

As a former paying member of the NPG online, this is why I act this way with Prince only because I know some of us went out of our way to truly support him so I am just SHOOTING off ideas into the universe so that Prince's management has a clue that we are respectful of him and his work as always!

Get with it and get a last.fm account!

I am not employed with them but I swear it is one of the best web services on the web. If you do not have a www.last.fm then usually I do not want to deal with you. I want to know what you listen to! So get with it!! ;)

So, I am doing my regular listening to music and working and I get this in my inbox at last.fm

It is from the Rachid Taha fan club. They are trying to organize a gift for Rachid Taha for his 50th birthday.

But this is what blows my mind. A lady contacts me and it seems as though she created the profile just to reach me?! Now, that is some powerful wishful thinking on my part. But as I look at her profile, she signed up yesterday, she does not have any friends yet, no neighbors and she has NOT listened to any music.

You know something similar is being done but for Michael Jackson's 50th birthday. However, it is different. I am in his fan club so I received a message from them directly. Don't laugh, I still love his music. [It is about the MUSIC people]

Weekly, I listen to one Michael Jackson track I have been loving and ALL YA SLEPT on it. So, just know that the man is talented beyond belief.  The song is, "Heaven Can Wait" from his Invincible Album. Take a listen below.

I have been defending Michael Jackson for years to friends, family and any one who knows I adore his music. Then I had to just stop because of all the MEAN PEOPLE out here who don't want to know the truth. So guess what, if you want to mess with me again about Michael Jackson please READ this book The Conspiracy Theory by Aphrodite Jones.

After hearing so much about Michael's legal case in the news I had to know what really went down. I recently received the book DIRECTLY from Aphrodite Jones because I ordered it directly from her. I do have her autograph with a short message to me:

After all the craziness went down between Prince and the websites, I was not feeling the vibe so I left.

But fortunately when I **lurk** I honestly have not seen anything too malicious towards Mr. Prince or I just have not paid much attention.

OHH NO, I feel like writing a Dear Prince Letter:

[Disclaimer - this happens time to time where I write a letter to Prince and it is complete craziness on my part but it is just how I feel and I have to get it off my chest. Further, I have to write it like this and BLAST my little emotions ALL over the web so I can GET his attention to TELL me what the heck is up!! I never get a response because I know he is not paying any attention to me so I feel as though it is okay with what I say, but it is all done in fun to vent my frustrations of 3121.com going down. See if 3121.com did not go down I would not be this pathetic in writing all these letters but then I do have a BONE to pick because he DID NOT SET up a web store so his LOYAL fans could buy a DVD of his Prince Concerts in London. Further, YOU KNOW IT WOULD BE REALLY NICE if you could get the Billboard Performance of the Joffrey Ballet dancing to your music available to sell to us but the more I think about it there may be some copyright issues for you to truly claim your profit. I already bought your perfume. So, what else do I need? I NEED A CONCERT!]]

Prince, will you PLEASE RESURRECT your web page?

I mean I would like to read your blogs, thoughts about what is happening in the music business or shoot just write us (YOUR LOYAL FANS) a song every month. I mean I know you are always creating. You are a workaholic. I am just as bad. I cannot believe I have been non-stop blogging since last year. So, I **get it** of the working your butt off on what you are passionate about. But, if you choose not to do that, I respect it. As a voice of one of your millions of fans who adore your creativity, we miss not having a central place to communicate with you.

So, please think about resurrecting your web site. Or if you do, and you do not want to say anything, why don't you just put your site up and change the colors. I am not feeling that black color. Why not your Purple signature color? Breathe your voice back into the web. I feel as though you need to be on here or if you are on at least make notice by resurrecting that web page.

You know I write you these blogs and you probably will never see them or if you do you are either cracking up or you are just wondering too what can be done in your legal situations or you think I am completely insane. I am just a true appreciator of your music who sometimes does not care of what people think, and I have to do what I have to do to get my point across.

All I want to say is that I come always in peace. I only want your music. In fact, it was never a priority of mine to meet you ever since my family pretty much banned me from seeing the movie Purple Rain or going to your Purple Rain Tour in the 1984. I grew to appreciate your art. I know people are truly fascinated with your life of what you do day to day but to tell you the truth the only aspect I want to know is how you create music.

Other than that, those other times are with your true friends. I do not know you. If you choose to connect with some people then that is the jimmy jam good for them. I do not take offense of who you choose to reach out to on the web. However, it would be sweet if you would get that website up again so we know what the heck is going on.

I almost fell out my chair! I said to myself, "are u for real?" I winced my eyes a couple of times and then I said I gotta read the note. As I was reading it, I was playing Amel Larrieux's new album, Lovely Standards. The song I was listening to was I Like the Sunrise which was a song written by Nina Simone. Amel did a superb job in covering it. Ms. Simone would be proud!

Bless you Amel! I left a blog post for you on myspace but if others are curious to what I said I dedicated this song here to her: Heaven by BeBe and CeCe Winans. Continue to keep a spiritual connection in your life! I can TESTIFY.

Actually, I dedicated the song also to Taalam Acey and to Maxwell.

Now be good, share the joy between you three and spread the vibe through living a full filling life! I love y'all like the air I breathe for your art truly touches me.

Man, I feel not worthy for your interaction with me because I don't want y'all (I'm Southern so that is why I talk with a southern DRAWL - well, that is for you to find out!)  to think I am crazy with all my blogs about you but it is all done in sincerity in spreading the word. The positive word of your work. I cannot keep it a secret of how powerful and re-affirming your work is to the world.  My bond to you is all through verse and melody. I do not ask for much but for people to be respectful of one another, a roof over my head and food to keep me alive until he calls me home. I honestly am that simple but I know some people are not.

Everyday, every hour and every minute I thank God for my blessings. You never know how long you will be on this Earth, and I thank God for giving me the opportunity to be alive for 34 years.
