As I was listening to Afroculture's playlist here on last.fm, the song, Afro Pusherman (click on link to sample) by Tony Allen caught me to the point that I am convinced that Prince was influenced by Tony Allen especially on that track.

As much as I joke, tease and praise, Prince, it is all LOVE. For my Princey POO POO is 50 today. Yes, 50 years old.

Naah he is not OLD but young in heart and he can still dance his little heart out.

In honor of his Purple royalness on www.last.fm we are having a Prince marathon in his honor with tributes and shout outs to him all day but you know for me everyday is a Prince love day but this one is extra special for Prince is 50!

What more can I say to a man who has influenced me in my music listening habits and how I appreciate music. I have been a loyal fan of the Purple wonder since I was 6 years old.

Prince made his American Bandstand debut on January 26, 1980 which was my 6th birthday. That is really bizarre and wonderful for me to know that!

In honor of you day, Prince, I am just letting the universe know again how much I appreciate you, your style, your uniqueness and your flair! By the way, may I borrow your corset? LMAO! 8) [it's all LOVE Prince!]

In checking my loyal sources on Prince, the housequake.com reported in a Press Release that Prince's Book, 21 nights will have a CD of some of Prince's work. See this thread here. on a SIDE NOTE: my water gun is in effect if you do me wrong Prince Poo Poo for it is filled with grape juice - I will squirt you if I pre-order this sucker and it does not come in due time. Just a friendly warning. You know I adore you but I have the power to squirt some grape madness on you. It's all LOVE!  No, I will not really do it but I had some pre-order issues with some other musicians so please please please do not do the same thing! This is really to your distributor and not to Prince. If Simon & Schuster, Inc. says ships on or around September 9 (2008) then I will wait one business week for that book. If not, I will be disappointed.

Dean Speaks had a radio show addressing pre-order issues and even had interviewed a young lady who had a very similar experience like me with pre-ordering music. Check his Episode 3, April 18, 2008 where he interviews a young lady on this issue.

Update: the lady received one of her CDs but not the one in issue that she was addressing in the radio show. (actually the musician sent 2. Still, I mean why did it have to take so long for the initial order? She ordered the CD in October 2007 for a December delivery 2007 and received in April 2008)  She is still waiting on the other CD from the singer she was upset about. It is now May 2008. Let's hope she receives it for the singer said now any time the CD will be out. When?? [Dean Speaks contacted me today saying the young lady received an email from this singer saying the pre-order CDs will be shipped out next week. Jesus, how much LONGER? I know she wants her CD NOW!]

Warning: there is a lot of foul language on this show but this is the web and people keep it real! I even confronted Dean on the language issue on his myspace page. The Prince of Prince's Book is more affordable ($50 according to Simon & Schuster) than I thought for I had written this about what I had found out earlier about his book: Whoa - $73.62 for a book? Hmm..what the!!

All of us on last.fm are amazed at how much Prince music she adores. I am just wondering if you could ever make it to Belgium or if you could even have your management reach out to her that would be great.

I am SHOCKED every week at her charts because she is consistently a top listener where she listens to you at least 300 to 500 times a week. I admire that. I am not to sure if she speaks English or if she does I am not aware but goodness gracious, this girl is going to turn into Prince as it was joked about on www.last.fm!

I had the chance to see it.

I enjoyed it but it was so short!!

How are you going to play with our little emotions, Mr. Princey poo poo? (^_^)  But, it was not his fault at all.

Why did the NBC producers of Jay Leno start his performance at 12.33AM EST and the show goes off at 12:37AM EST? 4 minutes of Prince. Only 4 minutes?! Is that the regular time of a music performance on Jay Leno? I am just wondering. But, it was great despite the 4 minutes of funk. I am addicted to funk so I try to have as much funk in my life as possible. Why do you think I listen to Prince ??  My Last.fm charts are very evident that I listen to Prince a lot but then to other music too!

However, the 4 minutes of Prince's funk broad casted on NBC was only for the viewing TV audience. The audience at Jay Leno saw more so I am thankful they had a treat. This why you should consider reading the blog by Dr.Funkenberry. He gives you the scoop!

Prince, please consider bring your Purple badness to New York City!!

On another note.....

Tonight, Prince  will be performing at Coachella so I look forward to hearing favorable reviews of his Purple badness!! According to mydesert.com, Prince's performance starts at 10.45pm PST so I may be asleep but the man will be rocking. I have no idea if the show will be online and I have tried asking on twitter to @attblueroom for they are live tweeting the event but they have not responded to my question or they may not respond.  I am signed up at AT&T Blueroom but they did not make it clear whether Prince's performance would be available online.

As a paying customer of AT&T for my cellphone has been with Cingular since 2001 (AT &T bought cingular and my entire family is signed up with Cingular for our cellphones), I wonder if Prince's team considered to clue in Prince's fans who are customer's of AT& T. [Another idea - I have been trying to find a Purple phone but Cingular does not have a Purple razor model so I tried to find a plastic purple cover but none of them fit the size of my old razor. So, I am just saying!! Hint hint to Prince poo poo. And, I refuse to use a blackberry!!]

As a former paying member of the NPG online, this is why I act this way with Prince only because I know some of us went out of our way to truly support him so I am just SHOOTING off ideas into the universe so that Prince's management has a clue that we are respectful of him and his work as always!

That little Mama the other night acting so DUMB kinda irked me. I have the type of personality that I will try and try to get through to someone but I know the kid is not going to listen.

Although people tell me to leave it alone I honestly have no idea what pushes me and gives me the energy to keep on kicking these ring rats any type of knowledge. I want to close my eyes but I cannot. It is too embarrassing and degrading to see this stupidness online.

I may have to be missing in action for awhile from fuzz.com because either those kids [if they read my recent blog] are going to curse me out or hunt my butt down. So I will not be going over there for awhile. Though I am not that fearful, I planted that seed but Jesus I am not too sure if I can even handle those kids beating up on me. If they do, I pray to GOD that I am ready for my internet death.

Then I kinda snapped today and was so emotional in these comments over here (I wrote as 2Serenity) that I upset someone but it was not them that I am upset with but everything I am witness to everyday and I am just tired for it seems as though I honestly have no where to turn but yell at myself through this stupid computer.

Though I know some people are listening, the main problem is that the kids either turn a deaf ear and the parents either don't know, don't care and do not know what to do. And, if you are in education especially in high school and you see what is going on then Jesus I am praying for you too.

I am SICK of myself having to deal with this nonsense but for some odd reason I am drawn into it from time to time online and it messes up my karma.

Guess what..I NEED A BREAKO or my heart will stop beating and I will be dead. So, for my own sanity I have to close one eye but keep the other one cracked a tad bit.

I felt like I vomited my entire soul all over fuzz.com today. I have nothing else to give.

[You see why I am halfway delirious and I listen to Prince. He talks to you through his music. So, this week will be Prince fest! YEAH!!]
