Recently SPIN magazine did an interview with Hip Hop Legend Q-tip but unfortunately Q-tip was not pleased with what SPIN had to say in their headline about him:

In reading the article if I missed the headline then I would not understand why Q-tip was so angry because the interview was an insight into his world from his eyes BUT that headline was very biased. I am so glad he warned his readers on twitter before any of us read it.

I do have a subscription to SPIN which was GIVEN to me as a gift but after knowing how bad Q-tip felt I am not so apt in renewing my subscription. I've been reading Rolling Stone on the regular for almost 20 years so that is my main source of music history BUT, I have to AGAIN give a high five to Maxwell for on his blog he recommended Wax Poetics magazine which I am definitely subscribing to after I had read some articles in there this past week. Did not realize their were people like me who enjoy music history to that extent.

I want to thank all my friends who came out to support especially those on twitter for this is where I met @keyinfluencer and we have been buds on a lot issues. He cracks me up with his tweets.

I believe at one point there were 67 people but not everyone signed in which is fine but you missed an opportunity to have your questions asked to Lisa. Yesterday, I opened up my twitter account to allow some people to follow me while I was with the @carolsdaugther [Lisa Price] webcast [Video includes the following people from Twitter @lynneluvah, @netdoc66, @keyinfluencer, @TheJennTaFur (me) here in New York City. I only did that so that if some people wanted to follow me then they could because I was trying to help out and be a part of the fun. [I <3 at Carol's Daughter's Hair Milk]

I try to monitor who I follow on twitter for I honestly try to read some of the blog posts of most people I follow but I will talk to you online on twitter. Be careful for I can yap yap but it is fun.

Twitter for me means so many things. It is a stream of my consciousness and then a stream of my reality. Everyone makes twitter what they want it to be.

Although I know some people have issues with the talkers (like me) then that is there issue. It does not upset me if you un-follow me because we all have our own agendas online. I honestly cannot be **everything** to everyone for some people need attention, some people just like to share or some people are asking questions about social media. I kind of mix it all up depending on my moods. However, there is a new device that @waynesutton shared with me to SNOOZE some people. I think that is kind of MEAN and I would not do that. I would just IGNORE it. I do that in real life.

For me, twitter is to share, care and nurture. That is my personality. That is me. This is how I act off line.

Twitter actually has become my main form of communication for I DESPISE the telephone with a passion. I am a voracious reader and I am beginning to enjoy writing more if I can express myself accurately. I am still challenged in the writing area so I apologize if I ramble too much or if I do not make sense. Practice makes perfect! ;)
