Show Description Singer-songwriter Alex Cuba hails from Artemisa, Cuba (40 miles from Havana) and resides in Smithers, B.C. (14 hours north of Vancouver). Musically, he lives everywhere in between. His trademark sugarcane-sweet melodies, pop-soul hooks and rock chords subtly subvert commonly held notions of what Cuban music is. Alex' 2nd album "Agua del Pozo" (Water From The Well), nominated for "Best World Music Album" at Canada's Juno Awards, represents a critically-acclaimed progression from his Juno-winning debut "Humo de Tabaco". Not tied to tradition, this Cuban-Canadian prefers his vintage '62 Gibson over el sencerro (cowbell) anytime.

Wow wow wow!

I adore Diane's work with a personal passion. I was playing around one day on myspace and I saw her work. It blew me away.

She has "it"!

In addition to being a wonderful artist I adopted her as my little sister here online. She has a great heart and she is sincere in everything that she is working on.

I see her as an artist to look out for!
